Beverly August

        Throughout my journey as a young artist and designer I've had the opportunity to work with the most amazing teachers, mentors, friends, and family along the way. They have made me embrace the challenging process of success in a world of criticism–requiring me to continuously push myself out of my comfort zone. I'll mention that my range of interests reach beyond that of fashion, extending itself to animation, costuming, film, and more. I hope to continue my journey into the fashion industry as a designer with much to offer, and into the fabrications of stop motion animation as an aspiring costume designer.

        An artist statement at this moment feels too final, for my statements of creating; who I am as a designer, and who I want to be will always be a work of progress and a desire to push to learn something every step of the way.
